Hansar Bangkok Hotel

An 88-room luxury hotel in central Bangkok, next to Erawan Shrine — running two incompatible worlds at once: 62 rooms on a chilled-water plant (3 Trane chillers, 6 chilled / 6 condenser water pumps, 3 cooling towers) and 26 rooms on Daikin VRV, with no BMS, no centralized control, and pumps stuck at fixed speed.

Element AI was layered on non-invasively: window sensors, temperature and occupancy sensors in guestrooms, a VRF central-control module for the Daikin side, VFD control for the pump sets, and an AI energy controller tying it all together.

What the AI now controls

Chilled / condenser water pumps — variable frequency, balanced cycling
3 Trane chillers — staging, setpoints, demand-led operation
3 cooling towers — fan speed matched to real load
26 Daikin VRV guestrooms — centralized schedules & set-back
All 88 guestrooms — occupancy sensing, window-open alerts, auto set-back
Energy metering per system — savings verified monthly
~40% of guestroom time is unoccupied — the single largest recoverable waste in hotel operations.

Across Industries and Load Types

National hotel chain
33% saving

Guestroom AC automation cut per-room energy from 560 to 446 units/month, plus a "housekeeping assistant" that flags truly empty rooms.

Shanghai World Trade Mall
32% saving

Large commercial complex; measurable reduction in common-area and plant consumption with an improved green profile.

Large shopping mall
32% saving

Fine-grained energy control under dense footfall; four-domain deployment (lighting, HVAC, parking, elevators).

Data center / server room
35% saving

Precision cooling under high-density thermal load — savings without touching IT availability.

Power generation plant
33% saving

Heavy-industry, high-consumption environment optimized for auxiliary energy use.

Manufacturing plant
35% saving

Pumps, compressed air and process equipment matched to real production demand.

Restaurant Chains, Store by Store

The Same Playbook, Repeated Across Brands

Restaurant equipment is largely fixed-speed — which makes the savings fast and easy to verify with a two-week A/B test.

Hotels & Institutions

Where Comfort Is Non-Negotiable

Five-star international hotel
THB 5M / year

4.5M kWh/year property; AI chiller-plant control delivered a five-million-baht-class annual saving with zero guest-facing change.

State-owned five-star hotel
25% HVAC

5M kWh/year property; chiller, pump and tower coordination cut summer cooling costs by ~THB 150,000 per month.

Childcare chain
4-domain control

HVAC, ventilation, lighting and plug loads across every campus — ~THB 21,000 saved per campus per month.
